When customers search fans and blowers for industrial applications, usually some of them are not sure whether they are centrifugal or axial type. Normally centrifugal Ventilation Fan & Blower are divided into centrifugal fan and axial fan. The difference between these two types of ventilation fans is that the flow rate of centrifugal fans is smaller than axial fans. But the pressure is more high, and the impeller structure is also different.

The centrifugal fan impeller, there are three types:
- 1. Forward impeller – When the angle of the centrifugal impeller is more than 90º, the pressure obtained by the forward impeller is larger.
- 2. And radial impeller – theangle of centrifugal impeller equal to 90º. The radial impeller supply high ventilation pressure and low flow.
- 3. For backward impeller, the angle of impeller blade is less than 90º, the backward impeller fan capacity is higher efficiency and also a wider range of applications.
Centrifugal fan & blower range
According to the purpose of the centrifugal fan, we can subdivide them into induced draft fan, textile fan, fire smoke exhaust fan and etc. GOLTA centrifugal fans they are :
- 1. General centrifugal fans – generally, to use for ventilation.
- 2. Mine centrifugal fans – to use for ventilation in mines.
- 3. Explosion proof centrifugal ventilator -to use for ventilation and air exchange purposes where the site contains flammable substances.
- 4. Boiler centrifugal fan – to use for boiler ventilation.
- 5. Boiler induced draft fan- to use for boiler induced draft.
- 6. Air-conditioning fan- to use for ventilation to improve the ambient temperature.
The structure of the centrifugal fan is a transmission form. There are three types for them: 1 Motor direct connection-the fan impeller is directly installed on the motor shaft. 2. the belt-(A, the belt is installed in the two bearings; B, and the belt cantilever is installed on one end of the shaft, the impeller cantilever is installed on the other end of the shaft; C, the belt cantilever is installed, the impeller is installed between the two bearings). 3. Shaft-impeller cantilever mounted and installed between the two shaft
